Subjects include social media, financial transactions, personal information online, decentralization of data, and encryption/decryption skills, as well as Bitcoin and Tor. It is highly recommended that you take this course using a PC (Debian-based Linux or Windows) or Mac. You may not be able to do some of the assignments using a mobile device.

In this workshop, you will learn how to encrypt and decrypt email, how to choose safe passwords, how to stop giving away your privacy to big corporate social media conglomerates, how to protect your anonymity with Tor, how to leave zero trace of your online activity on your computer, and much more. It is jam-packed with practical information and skills you can use right away to stay safe online.
